Millie's Playground is the result of walking into a locally owned shoe shop to buy my daughter some Esprit shoes! The shop was for lease and after an innocent question to the owner things snowballed into what is now Millie's Playground. I had been on maternity leave for 9 months and a new year was rolling in so the mind was ticking over as to what could be my 'next project'. I had established I needed something I could do for myself and that I was passionate about. I had bought a craft book with the intent of making gorgeous baby gifts but having never sewn a button thought better of it!

After living in Melbourne and having all the shops at my fingertips it wasn't very hard for me to pick what I thought were the gaps in Tasmania. After driving to Hobart and attempting a few shopping expeditions (between feeds and nappy changes) I would often return home frustrated and empty handed. Millie's Playground is designed to bring good quality products that don't break the bank right to your doorstep!
